Children's Travel

My interest Travellers was not born in summer when the controversy erupted. I like what I know about this nomadic culture and popular, like the gypsy jazz, I like the idea of a people more than any European nation Europe.

One spring day, I walked along the Loire River in search of a point of view to take some pictures. I came across a makeshift camp that had two or three families. I asked to take some pictures and was very well received. Throughout the discussion, one man explained to me how I should go about it if I wanted to take pictures during the summer gathering.

I waited patiently for several months and one day in June caravans have reappeared in the tens on the roadside.

I wanted to push me around a bit, stopping to observe all this from the road, in the misunderstanding of what "it" was. So even if I died of fright ... I forced myself, I went.

During the two summer months, I returned several times. First on my own, then at the invitation of people telling me "Come photograph my children" , "Come on, there is a baptism, a wedding, a meeting" ... etc..

I quickly realized that children loved to be photographed and that adults were held in more withdrawal of discretion. I took my party and I made about 120 pictures on a little over 200 photos.

I also took copious notes, recorded sounds and hope to publish something a bit successful: book or show. Everything has it matures in my head.
